While I wear many hats, my life and career has always been focused on people. As an award-winning human resources executive, entrepreneur, thought leader, writer, speaker, theatrical director, producer, and founder of the charity World Child Cancer USA, my passion and purpose involves enlightening, inspiring, and teaching others.
For more than two decades, I have lived and worked throughout the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia. My career credits include Head of Global Employee Engagement for Tesla Motors, International VP of HR for JDA Software, VP of HR for the Fortune 300 medical device company, Stryker and Broadway theatre.
I am a contributing writer for Forbes and Huffington Post and the founder of The Voice of Purpose. I am also the author of How to Find a Job, Career and Life You Love and Purpose Meets Execution: How Winning Organizations Accelerate Engagement and Drive Profits and two upcoming books, Behind the Ink: Lessons from the Transformation of an Industry and the children’s book, What Kind of Bee can I be?
Enhancing my education is an ongoing affair, but I have previously studied Labor Relations at Cornell University, New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and Advanced Leadership at Harvard Business School. I hold a BA from California State University, Fullerton, as well as a BS and JD from Saratoga University School of Law.
